Occupational Therapy

My journey started in New Jersey, but the call for new experiences brought me to the beautiful landscapes of Arizona. I pursued both my undergraduate and graduate studies at Seton Hall University, where my passion for helping others took root.

My personal experiences with health challenges led me to discover the incredible power of holistic approaches and natural medicine. I truly believe in the healing power of nature and the environment, and I incorporate these elements into my therapy practices to create positive, lasting results.

At the core of my practice is a strong commitment to interdisciplinary communication, research-based techniques, collaboration with families, and creating individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique needs. I believe that working closely together ensures the best outcomes for every child.

Hi, I’m Sarah, a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with over 15 years of experience supporting children and families across a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, schools, early intervention, and in-home therapy. My approach is rooted in the belief that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated exactly as they are.

I specialize in child-led, play-based therapy that honors each child’s unique strengths, sensory profile, and natural curiosity. I am deeply committed to neurodiversity-affirming practices, focusing on creating safe, supportive environments where kids feel empowered to explore, connect, and thrive on their own terms. I believe in building trust, following the child’s lead, and respecting their autonomy—because true growth happens when children feel respected and understood.

My sessions are grounded in regulation, relationship, and joyful engagement, drawing from evidence-based approaches such as DIR/Floortime, sensory integration principles, and trauma-informed care. I work closely with families and caregivers, offering education, collaboration, and practical tools to carry progress into everyday life.

Whether we’re working on motor skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation, or fostering independence in daily routines, my goal is to help children build confidence through meaningful, functional experiences that matter to them.

I’m honored to walk alongside your child’s journey—and I can’t wait to meet you.
